Frequently Asked Questions
-
Yes. You must use the fillable PDF reporting forms provided by XLR8 Data Services. Our converter is specifically designed to read these forms and cannot process other documents.
All information must be typed directly into the PDF using a computer or other electronic device. Do not print the form to complete it by hand or with a typewriter. Scanned documents, photographs, and handwritten forms cannot be processed.
Once completed, save the PDF to your device and upload that saved file to the converter.
-
Select either Teen DE/DEE Reporting or Adult ADE/ADEE Reporting from your Member Home page.
Download the appropriate XLR8 fillable PDF, enter your student information, and save the completed form to your computer.
Next, click Browse to select your saved PDF, then click Check PDF and Create CSV.
If your information passes validation, your CSV file will download automatically. You can then submit it through the TDLR reporting portal.
-
Yes! Our fillable reporting forms allow you to enter up to 10 students on a single PDF.

-
No problem! Our converter automatically checks for many common errors, including missing information, invalid dates, duplicate certificate numbers, and mismatched certificate types.
If an error is found, the system will explain what needs to be corrected. No CSV file will be created until the detected errors are resolved.
Simply open your original PDF, make the corrections, save it again, and upload the corrected version.
Please remember that the converter cannot verify every detail of a student's record. Your school is responsible for reviewing the information for accuracy.content, tools, and updates to keep your learning and inspiration going strong.
-
Our converter is designed to process your completed PDF directly within your web browser. The PDF is not uploaded to an XLR8 conversion server for processing.
Your completed PDF and downloaded CSV remain on your own device, where you control how they are stored and managed.
For student privacy, we recommend using a secure computer, protecting your files, and avoiding shared or public devices.
-
No. XLR8 Data Services prepares your CSV file in the format required for TDLR certificate reporting.
Your driving school is responsible for uploading the completed CSV through the TDLR reporting portal and reviewing the results to confirm that your records were accepted.
If TDLR identifies an error, review the information, make any necessary corrections, and generate a new CSV file.
