House Bill 1317: Requires Information Relating to Child Passenger Safety Seat Systems.
Effective March 15, 2018 TDLR adopted rules for HB 1372. This bill requires updated information relating to the proper use of child passenger safety seat systems be included in the curriculum of each DRIVER EDUCATION and DRIVER SAFETY course.
Update includes:
Curriculum - Multi-page Presentation in Powerpoint and PDF formats.
Forms - Required "Statement of Assurance." Fill out this form stating the area/day in your curriculum that you'll be adding our information. Sign the form and send to TDLR to assure your compliance
