About Us

Tonya and Charles Dansby opened Central Texas Driving School in 2011 as a Mom and Pop venture. As a certified Special Education teacher and Principal, Mrs. Dansby found more effective means to teach students. She and Mr. Dansby hired the best of the best instructors (many of them also having higher degrees in education) to assist in course and curriculum development for face-to-face classes, parent taught instruction, and the over all driver education community.

Together, they have taught thousands of teens and adults to drive, trained hundreds of driving instructors, assisted with opening new driving schools and provided specialized courses to meet the growing expectations of Texas education.
