Community Safety Education Program
SB 30, also know as The Community Safety Education Act, was passed by the 85th Texas Legislature, Regular Session, 2017. This rule requires school districts to provide instruction to students in grades 9-12 on proper interaction with peace officers during traffic stops and other in-person encounters. The requirement applies to any student who enters grade 9 in the 2018-19 school year and thereafter at least once before graduation from high school.
Our course is free to all school districts and can be utilized by individual students in a computer lab or even on their personal cell phones! At the end of the program, the student will register for the course quiz (please provide them a school email address). Once they have passed the quiz with a minimum of 70% an official completion certificate will be emailed.

Transition Fair Vendor
Transition fairs help connect students and their families to resources that help them build successful lives after high school. When educators, families, students, community members and organizations work together, post-secondary outcomes improve for ALL students!
Students’ opportunities to learn about services and supports that are available to them as they transition to adulthood are increased when they attend a transition fair involving multiple stakeholders (such as employment opportunities, local colleges, career and technical schools, banks, etc.)
Central Texas Driving School / XLR8 Drivers Education recognizes that a drivers license is a very important element in the transitioning into adulthood. Our goal is to educate our Texas teens in the process and procedures so that they can take the next step! We happily attend FASFA and Transition Fairs as often as possible across the state! Call to check our event calendar! We’d love to help your students.
